The drinkin' of the green and the thinkin' of the blue -- tonight at Drinking Liberally Rochester

Hey all you fine citizens of the Reality-Based Community out there:

Come drink liberally with us tonight at Monty's Korner (355 East Avenue), 7-10 PM. It was great to meet you new folks last week, and I hope to meet even more of you this week. If I don't remember your name don't take it personal-like, I was bad with names even when I wasn't chronically sleep-deprived (pre-kids). If you can, just humor me and tell it to me again...

Should we have nametags? Seems kind of weird for a drinking crowd. Eh, we'll figure something out.

The number of folks subscribing to this list has gone up by 50% since last week (awesome!), so I guess some of you read the City paper article?

Regardless of how you found us, whether you're a DFA-er, a Kennedy Councilperson, or just a good ol' fashioned American patriot, you are more than welcome.

As always, please drink responsibly: no Coors! (There's a project for someone-- does anyone want to compile a list of Blue libations from buyblue.org?)

When you get to Monty's Korner, just look for one of the red, white, and blue wine bottles. Or one of the signs that our enterprising members are printing out and posting (many thanks to you guys!) We tend to start in one of the booths and annex tables into the room as we grow.

Cheers,

Ted
