DL tonight!
Hello people(s)!Just a quick reminder that:
We roll tonight (to Monty's Korner)
To the guitar bite (and the bite of a tasty lager) And for those about to drink liberally (sometime between 7-10 pm) I salute you.
Apologies to AC/DC and that very cool School of Rock movie. I'm not sure why I have that on my mind at the moment, but let's just go with it for now.
I'm looking forward to hearing how things went last week. I expect a full report on my desk first thing this evening.
Seriously, does the news continue to get weirder and weirder or are my crazy pills starting to have an effect? Discuss.
Oh, and can whomever gets to Monty's tonight first please retrieve the bottle from behind the bar (ask one of Monty's fine staff for assistance with this) and put it on the table, thereby marking our terrirory, like the crazed dogs of democracy we are.
And whomever has the other bottle(s?) let me know! We're keeping them at Monty's now, so unless you like to carry them around (they make great converation pieces at work), please bequeath them unto Monty's crackerjack staff.
You may ask, why am I so high on Monty's staff? Why, it's because they have TOTALLY HOOKED US UP! That's right, Liz used the force and her persuasive negotiating powers to convince Monty's management to extend the normal Monday-Wednesday happy hour specials to people wearing a DL pin on Thursday evening! $2 well drinks and domestic drafts.
Never, for a second, doubt Monty's commitment to democracy and the future of our great land.
