Drinking Liberally Tonight, 7 PM, Monty's Korner
Greetings fellow progressives!
I don't know about you, but I need to get the taste of that multi-page gush-fest from the D&C out of my mouth. You know the one, from earlier this week, documenting *The Visit*. (cue angelic singing sound). If you don't have any idea what I'm talking about, come tonight and I'm sure several of us will be willing to give you a prize-winning rant.
Be sure to ask Jason for the bonus rant about the National ID card.
Never thought I'd see him agreeing with fundamentalists on ANYTHING.
I think THAT'S more a sign of the apocolypse more than the ID card itself.
Sorry to miss you all last week, but, barring any last minute snafus, I shall be there tonight.

Hey all!
What's going on tonight? Why, it's Drinking Liberally, at your friendly neighborhood drinkery, Monty's Korner, 7-10 PM.
We're up to 60 folks now on the list. Imagine if we all descended on Monty's the same week? The bar would be transformed.
Some folks have been asking if we can use this DL-Rochester list to let folks know about local political events and local reports from DL members. I say, absolutely, by cracky! They must have local interest and shouldn't be forwarded announcements from political groups though. I know I get enough of those already. Not too many, just enough. :-)

Save Democracy: Drink Liberally Tonight!
Hi all,
A quick reminder that DL is in full effect tonight and every Thursday night.
Where: Monty's Korner (although we will be hopping on over to Muther's (sp?) sometime soon
When: 7-10 PM.
I'll be out after the kiddies are down, but don't let that stop you from getting a head start on me. Remember, I'm a lightweight.
Last week was a cozy group, in terms of size, and conversational content. We got 8 different kinds of personal. Very cool. Another example of how trust and compassion are progressive values.
